Demetrius dela Cruz received his B.A. from UCSD in psychology in 1987. Afflicted with the Peter Pan syndrome, he moved from various jobs in divergent fields: from working as a flight attendant, to doing IT support and at one point running his own landscaping business. Currently he works in the Translational Virology Core providing technical as well as administrative support. He enjoys tennis, skiing, hiking and travel. He also enjoys TV shows and movies that involve brilliant, psychologically unstable protagonists.
