Developmental grants are available to full CFAR members and faculty at our member institutions.
If you conduct HIV research outside the U.S. - or would like to do so - we are here to help.
CFAR Core facilities provide access to equipment and services that are impractical or impossible to maintain in individual laboratories.
The San Diego Center for AIDS Research (SD CFAR) comprises eight service areas or cores. Each core serves a unique purpose within the Center and within the HIV/AIDS research community.
Six of our cores offer services to HIV researchers and other clinicians and scientists at competitive pricing, and many services are offered at no charge.
Finally, our Administrative Core does all the behind-the-scenes work to plan seminars, manage grants, and assist the other cores.
