Brendon Woodworth earned his B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, where he investigated restoration of muscle function in Drosophila models of obesity and circadian-rhythm disruption through time-restricted feeding. His interest in diseases, immunology, and the molecular aspect of biology were developed as an undergraduate researcher and were instrumental in his drive to become a member of the CFAR Translational Virology Core team. When not in the lab he enjoys hiking, camping, bowling, frisbee golf, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
