PLEASE NOTE: SD CFAR is only offering one submission cycle per year, offering a maximum of two grants to allow more time for individual outreach and training.
You are welcome to propose a research project on virtually any aspect of HIV prevention, risk, transmission, or treatment. Observational studies are welcome, but any studies involving interventions or clinical trials are prohibited.
Email a one-page letter of intent summarizing your project up to one month before the application due date. Please let us know if you already have an SD CFAR Collaborator or if you would like us to help you find one. Feel free to ask any questions. We will review your letter, respond to your questions, and notify you if we have any concerns about your proposed research.
