The service rates provided by the UCSD Virology Core are structured into the following pricing categories:
1. Base Rate: Applies to UC campuses, the VA San Diego Healthcare System, and VMRF.
2. Affiliated Rate: Applies to low-income organizations, non-profits, and universities outside the UC system.
3. Industry Rate: Applies to for-profit external entities.
This structure ensures appropriate pricing based on the type of organization receiving services.
