FAQ

This FOA provides an avenue for investigators in the U.S. and LMICs, with shared interests in stigma research in HIV/AIDS affected populations, to establish collaborative research and strengthen and sustain research capacity activities. Therefore, one or more investigators from an institution in the U.S. and one or more from an institution in an LMIC (see definitions above, in the "Eligible Institutions" section) are strongly encouraged to collaborate on the application. Collaborations between investigators in LMIC are also encouraged to build LMIC networks. PLEASE NOTE: Use of the multiple PD/PI format is encouraged but not required. Where there are multiple PD/PIs, the contact PD/PI may be from the LMIC institution or from the U.S., but the PDs/PIs are expected to prepare the application jointly.

Non-U.S. High Income Country based investigators are not eligible as PD/PIs but may be included as consultants, especially if they present special opportunities for furthering research programs
