Calling on community –

we need you now more than ever!

Community engagement has been fundamental in the fight against HIV. It is now more important than ever as we look towards ending the HIV epidemic. The San Diego Ending the HIV Epidemic Community Summit is designed to provide an overview of this initiative as well as serve as a listening session forum to ensure that the communities most effected by our HIV epidemic have a voice in the planning of and implementation of our local response. This will be the first of several community events and strategies that we hope will help frame San Diego’s collective response rooted in the meaningful engagement of affected community members.

Join us on Saturday, February 29, from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the Jacobs Center for Community Innovation (404 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114).  Event details below:

  • RSVP was required by February 19, 2020.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Simultaneous Spanish translation and childcare for potty trained children ages 3 – 12 will be available (registration for these services is required).
  • For other accessibility needs, please contact cfar@ucsd.edu no later than February 19, 2020.
