Roni Kevin Lobato Ventura was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States when he was five years old. He earned his B.S. in General Biology and his minor in General Chemistry from California State University San Marcos. He joined Dr. Beliakova-Bethell's lab right after college and has been a technician for her lab since. His favorite aspect of working in the lab is learning and understanding new HIV/cell interactions and pathways and developing new protocols. In his free time he volunteers with the youth ministry at his Church, enjoys playing and watching football (soccer), going to Disneyland, and spending time with loved ones.
