SNP Analysis

The Genomics and Sequencing Core offers SNP detection as a service. Using SNP assays from Applied Biosystems, Inc. (now ThermoFisher Scientific, Inc.), we can evaluate multiple samples for your SNP of interest. The Core aims to complement the large-scale whole-genome SNP approach by testing for known polymorphisms using TaqMan pre-designed SNP genotyping assays. Custom-designed assays are also available from ThermoFisher Scientific. Genomics and Sequencing Core offers full SNP genotyping service (including labor, reagents, and plastics for a plate setup, run, and final data analysis).
