Second Annual International HIV/AIDS Research Day

The border fence between the United States and Mexico has little effect on infectious diseases such as HIV and TB. Across the ocean, HIV, TB, malaria, and other infections spread freely across African countries and throughout India and Asia.

What can be done to reduce the incidence of such diseases? What prevention methods work across diverse cultures? How can we help those at risk to remain healthy or obtain treatment?

These and other important questions will be addressed at the Second Annual International HIV/AIDS Research Day, sponsored by the International Core of the UCSD Center for AIDS Research (CFAR).
