Required reading for NIH grant applicants: new instructions for documenting scientific rigor and reproducibility

If you or your colleagues are planning to apply for NIH grants in the near future, please review these new guidelines. Feel free to download this helpful infographic, too.

NIH requires rigorous and transparent research for all its grant programs. Updates to application instructions and review language have been implemented for research grants and mentored career development awards. Updates to institutional training grants, institutional career development awards (K12/KL2) and individual fellowships will be forthcoming in 2017 or later.
