Since 2002, the CFAR has co-sponsored the Retrovirus Seminar Series, which generally meets twice a week. The series comprises two meetings: Journal Club and Work-in-Progress. Both meetings are held at 4:00 p.m., usually in Room 344 a/b of the Stein Clinical Research Building.
Journal Club meets on Wednesday afternoons at the time and location noted above. See the meeting schedule to confirm the time and location for specific meetings and to download the papers to be reviewed. Speakers present recent, relevant publications and facilitate discussion.
Programming and Statistics for Biologists (PAS4B) is a free, recurring workshop taught by Dr. Ben Murrell. Just bring a WIFI/web-enabled device and an appetite for lunch and learning. Lunch is provided for registered participants. Please RSVP via Eventbrite. Select as many dates as you wish!
Work-in Progress meets on Friday afternoons at the time and location noted above. See the meeting schedule to confirm the time, location, and topic for specific meetings. Speakers present their own current research for discussion and constructive evaluation.
We welcome your feedback on each of these meetings and on the Retrovirus Seminar Series as a whole.
