2014 CHRIS Meeting keynote presentations
The CFAR HIV Research in International Settings (CHRIS) meeting was held on October 1, 2014, in San Diego. More than 200 persons registered for this exciting program, which highlighted international HIV research supported by multiple Centers for AIDS Research. The meeting was hosted by the UC San Diego CFAR with generous support from the Office of AIDS Research, Abbvie, and Gilead.

Dr. Eric Goosby, Professor of Medicine, Global Health Sciences, UC San Francisco, and former U.S. Ambassador at Large and U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator for PEPFAR, spoke on "Global Health Delivery and Diplomacy: The Long Road to Sustainable Programs."
Dr. Carlos del Rio, Hubert Professor and Chair, Hubert Dept. of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, spoke on, "The Past, Present, and Future of Global Health Engagement by Academic Institutions."
