Join your colleagues on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, for an informative exchange of information and ideas on international HIV/AIDS research. Learn about current research in Brazil, México, South Africa, Thailand, and Zambia.
Who: Open to anyone interested in international HIV/AIDS research. Invited speakers include Carlos Del Rio, MD, and J. Allen McCutchan, MD, MSc.
What: A one-day conference highlighting the latest international clinical and public health research in HIV/AIDS. Five International Core grant recipients will present preliminary results of their funded studies; the remaining speakers and poster presenters will describe their current international research.
When: Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. The program gets underway at 8:15 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
Where: UCSD Center for Molecular Genetics large auditorium.
Parking: Purchase a one-day parking pass ($7.00) from vending machines at the Gilman Drive information booth. When you exit the booth area, turn right on Gilman Drive, and immediately turn right onto Osler Lane. Just past the stop sign, turn right into parking lot P604. Park in any vacant B space. Follow directional signs from the entrance of the parking lot to the auditorium.
Registration: Open Tuesday, September 2, through Friday, October 3; e-mail UCSD Center for AIDS Research, include names and e-mail addresses for all attendees. Registration is free but space is limited.
