Who: These symposia are open to anyone interested in international HIV/AIDS Research. More than 80 participants attended the 2012 Research Day.
What: A one-day symposium highlighting the latest international research in HIV/AIDS. CFAR International Core grant recipients and others present results of their funded studies.
When: Research Days are generally scheduled in the fall quarter.
Where: UC San Diego main campus in La Jolla.
Why: To showcase the efforts of our CFAR members, grant recipients, and colleagues in international HIV/AIDS research.
How: Abstracts are solicited and reviewed in the summer. Selected authors are invited to present their research orally or in poster format. There is no cost to attend our Research Days; however, registration is required to guarantee catering.
