Membership

The UC San Diego Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) includes five member institutions:

• University of California, San Diego
• VA San Diego Healthcare System
• The Salk Institute
• The Scripps Research Institute
• The La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology

If you would like to join the CFAR, please read about our member institutions and membership options, then fill in a form. It's that easy! There are no dues or fees for CFAR membership.

Full membership

Full membership includes access to several of our funding opportunities plus discounted prices on numerous Core services, as well as announcements of all of our upcoming seminars and programs. If you are on faculty at or above the Assistant Professor level or equivalent at one of the institutions listed above, and if you have an interest in HIV treatment and/or research, you are eligible for full membership  in the UC San Diego CFAR. Community membership

If you are not on faculty at the above institutions, and if you would like to receive information about our seminars and events, you are eligible for community membership in the CFAR. You will receive all announcements of our upcoming programs and seminars, most of which are open to the public. Sign up now!
